The Muse Formulation Standard

Most fragrance made locally treats formulation as an afterthought: dilute the oil, bottle it, move on to the next order. We built Muse the other way around. What holds a scent together between the top note you smell in the shop and the drydown you notice on your own skin hours later is invisible work — the carrier that lets a fragrance open without irritation, the agent that keeps it from thinning out by evening, the quiet process that makes bottle forty smell identical to bottle four. None of this appears on a label anyone reads. All of it shows up on skin, in the version of the story that actually matters. Muse Atelier exists because we decided formulation deserved the same attention we already gave the notes themselves — approached as craft, not as a step to rush through on the way to something more exciting.

This is the standard every Atelier release is held to long before it becomes a numbered slot on the collection page — the reason Atelier exists as its own tier, rather than a smaller-batch version of the everyday line. The formulation comes first. The scarcity is just what's left over.
